DescriptionCover, made of two loom widths, seamed. Long narrow band of tabby-woven linen including two narrow bands of lace weaving. Design shows bands of ornament consisting of stylized birds, plants, stars and geometric motifs executed in brocading and overshot techniques with blue cotton, polychrome silks and heavy bright gold yarns. Lined with pieces of diaper-patterned silk striped yellow, green, pink and white; some patches and holes in lining. Linen browned; several stains.
