DescriptionPiece of a curtain, gathered at top. Polychrome print on antural cotton ground. Design shows three brown and white stripes representing fluted pilasters with modified Composite capitals, one above another, alternating with three wider stripes showing spiral garlands of red roses, green leaves, red berries or tufts and a dark brown ribbon-like element edged in blue. Selvedges on both sides, covered in part by pale green tape, now shredding. Colors faded, cotton browned.
