DescriptionPanel, made of part of a petticoat. Rectangular panel of quilted white cotton. Upper two-thirds quilted in herringbone pattern; lower third patterned with swirling spirals; zig-zag band between. Lower third embroidered with fine twisted polychrome woolen yarns. Symmetrical pattern of fine blossoms and tendrils arranged in vertical rows connected at bottom of fine swags. Below. A narrow border showing an undulating floral vine. A few small brown stains; wools worn in places, especially lower border.
