DescriptionBrocaded with tinsel, silver wire wound on a silk core (tinsel wound with silver wire wound? on a silk core) and polychrome silks. Undulating stems with large palm and fan-shaped leaves in silver, and floral sprays, on a weft-figured ground of cream-colored ribbed silk. Composed of two pieces. Selvedge on one side of six cords and a narrow stripe and on part of the other side. Soiled, worn, silver tarnished.
