DescriptionDress of cream-colored challis with plaid of cream-colored silk with printed polychrome design of decorative autumn leaves; fitted bodice, pointed in front, folds of self material across front below widely flaring neck; short sleeves trimmed with flaring neck; short sleeves trimmed with puffs of same material; full skirt with fullness pleated into waist all around; folds and seams finished with white silk piping; silk rotting out; a number of breaks; a few stains; a number of small moth holes; said to have been worn by Mary Eleanor Howe.
