DescriptionPiece. Ground: White silk with wavy ribbons brocaded in white and blue silks. Design: Curved stems with roses brocaded in polychrome silks crossed with curved stems bearing trumpet-shaped blossoms brocaded in gilded tinsel, gilded silver wire wound on a silk core, and green silk. These floral sprays form an undulating line which crosses and recrosses the wavy ribbon in the ground. Selvedge on one side with four cords and two narrow stripes. Spotted and stained. Metallic threads worn.
