DescriptionFine white linen or cotton, embroidered in white with bunches of flowers in chain-stitch, laid-work, french-knots and a curl-like stitch called by the Italians punto riccio. Four tassels. This bag was embroidered by Mrs. Hannah Newcomb, daughter of Wm. Dawes, who rode to Lexington, with Paul Revere, on the 18th of April 1775.
