The ovoid shaped necks are flattened and flare gently at the mouth. Painted in puce camaieu against a white ground, both bottles are similarly decorated with riverside scenes, one with a woman and one with a man. The figures are simply dressed; the woman wears a long dress with rolled sleeves and a hat and carries a basket; the man carries a tall walking stick and wears a long-sleeved shirt with loose-fitting breeches and a tall hat. Both figures stand in clearings bordered by log fences and trees. The foreground of both are rocks and aerial roots, and some buildings are visible in the distance. On the reverse of both bottles is a small landscape scene with a tree, a log fence, and rocks. The foot ring is decorated with a plain gold band, and gold floral sprays are placed on the sides of the shoulders and on the front and back of the necks. The upper rim has a gilt trefoil border. The interiors of the bottles are partially glazed in white.</value></field><field label="Classification" name="classification"><value>Ceramics</value></field><field label="Width" name="width"><value>18.0000000000</value></field><field label="Height" name="height"/><field label="Depth" name="depth"/><field label="Id" name="id"><value>58672</value></field><field label="Deaccessioned Objects Only" name="deaccessioned"><value>0</value></field><field label="Collection Objects Only" name="accessioned"><value>1</value></field></object>
