The gold brooch on top is in the shape of an asymmetric, inverted triangle. Depicted in relief (repousse) on the soft, matte surface is a geranium blossom, its petals and stamens directed upwards. The stem, flanked by two leaves with scalloped borders, continues beyond the apex of the brooch and is highlighted by four bezel-set, pink sapphires.
The second brooch is composed of a vibrant, hot pink stone (cobalto calcite druse) bezel-set in silver. It is surmounted by a small stem from which two modelled leaves emerge. Four bezel-set gems (three pink and one green sapphire) are clustered at the top and when both brooches are worn the tips of the stems approximate one another, forming a continual, organic unit that is sensual and elegant.
