The bezel has a stylized foliate design that encloses a lever escapement movement. The reverse incorporates a pair of profile enamel portraits framed by rose-cut diamonds set in a scrolling, pierced grillework. The case is unmarked but was in all liklihood made in France for Tiffany & Co. The watch was once owned by Mrs. Clara Hunt Snow (1843-1909) of Brockton, Massachusetts and was handed down in the family. There is a vintage photo of Mrs. Snow, ca. 1895, in a horse-drawn carriage.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Jewelry / Adornment</schema:artForm><schema:width>5.0000000000 Centimeter</schema:width><schema:height>1.3000000000 Centimeter</schema:height><schema:url>http://collections.mfa.org/objects/detailsrdf/511173;jsessionid=03CE31E4E486C800962FDEC337D12139</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></rdf:RDF>
